Greetings LW, and Happy Father's Day to all you Dads out there!

Well, as reported last month Storm of War isn't being released after all as many website stores were reporting.. there is a chance that we may see it this September + plus two weeks..lol

Another title called Rise of Flight based on the aerial war of World War One should be released by the end of this month. The screenshots look fantastic! More information and links can be found on our forums.

If you've visited the forums lately, then you've read that Oleg is finally going to release "The Battle of Britain: Storm of War."  I don't think this has been 100% officially confirmed, but numerous web vendors have the title listed now as a pre-order with the release dated from 1 June to 4 June.. at least from the research I've done.  The price is a bit steeper than IL2 was, most sites have it listed at $49.99 USD. News of this release is very exciting as it may help to pump life back into the squads ranks again, that's my hope anyway!

Easter is here and so are the April showers, at least in my part of the world anyway..lol

A new title has caught the attention of some of the squad, called Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X.  It's an arcade style flightsim but the graphics are outstanding and gameplay is really fun as well. You can read more about it in our forums.  And if your into the RTS WWII series "Company of Heroes" a new stand alone expansion was just released called, "Tales of Valor" and it focuses more on armor in it's campaign.

I would like to thank you all for hanging in there and keeping our squad going this past year, and I wish us all many many more years together!!

If the flying bug has started to tickle you again, and your interested in flying in IL2 1946, visit our forum and look for a post called "IL2 Addon Info" started by our Steiny (I split the topic off another post that was started so it could be found and read easier) Thanks for all the info there guys.. Carpy has some great links there as well!  The Sound Mod is really nice, I was extremely impressed with it myself.. so check 'em out!
